Man bikes through Anderson, across the country to spread Gospel

Kevin Woolley pedaled his way through southern Anderson on Wednesday, carrying his hybrid behind his bicycle on a small trailer. Woolley, a 50-year-old businessman from Oklahoma City, Okla. , has been traveling across the outback for three weeks now on a mission to spread the news of the Gospel anyway he can. He said that he's been speaking at churches, at community meetings and wherever he's invited by the strangers he meets along the way. This is Woolley's relocate cross-country trip, carrying the cross that he made out of plastic pipe and white fabric. On his first journey, made last year, he traveled 16,000 miles and made it through 48 states. The whole belief of spreading the Gospel by towing a handmade cross behind a bicycle began when he felt God was calling him to sell all his possessions and hit the way. "The Lord spoke to me and told me to sell everything I had and to carry his cross across America," Woolley said. When he heard that call, he sold his 13-year-old furnishings business in Oklahoma City and sold his belongings.
