Suiting someone to a T Closures for Springfest Tow away zones have been established downtown as Southern Pines readies for Springfest. Preparation for Saturday's episode begins at 4 a. m. April 28 and activity surrounding the breakdown of this event is anticipated to conclude at approximately 6 p. m. As a denouement of this activity, Broad Street(s) will be closed to vehicular traffic... In addition, there will be a no parking/tow away zone established on Broad Road(s) between Connecticut Pennsylvania Avenues on both sides of the street. Vehicles parked in this “no parking zone” will be controlled by to tow in accordance with town ordinances. In addition, East and West New Hampshire Avenue between Bennett and Ashe streets will be closed. The town parking lot on W. New Hampshire will be posted no parking as well. Springfest, an annual tradition in downtown Southern Pines for more than 30 years, will be held on Saturday, April 28, from 10 a. m. to 4 p. m.
