Team Meeting Weekend in Review; Ben Spies Edition

MotoGP:   Ben Spies has won his first MotoGP rush in the Assen TT, becoming the first American to win since 2006 (Nicky Hayden) and the first rider case of the “Aliens” (Stoner, Pedrossa, Rossi, Lorenzo) to win a dry rivalry since the 800cc era...  Had Simoncelli not wrecked he and Spies might have had an epic fly, but Simoncelli did, and so Spies was gifted to win handily.  This ruined a potentially giant channel between Simoncelli and Spies, and allowed Spies to tip every lap on his way to his first trade win.  Ben Spies and Marco Simoncelli were numerically all weekend and out able Casey Stoner and Jorge Lorenzo. Stoner objective seemed off this weekend, he was hunger strike, but not as firm as he has been. Acknowledgement god Spies won, because otherwise, it would have been a fatuous GP.  Assen is one of the bigger tracks on the organize, yet this weekends racing was as processional as it get’s.  Because of that, Lorenzo was even more livid with Simoncelli about their ruins, as he departed points to Stoner on a day he should have picked some up....
